Since 2022, state inspectors have cited Abraham Rest Home 5 times (1 serious, 4 minor) and confirmed no complaints across 8 inspections. All five citations came from a single annual visit in 2023. The serious finding was that hot water was running at 138.8 degrees, well above the safe limit. That same visit, inspectors also cited the home for not keeping staff training records on-site, having too little emergency food and water on hand, missing written doctor's orders for bed rails in 2 residents' rooms, and yard gates that didn't close on their own. Annual inspections in 2022, 2024, and 2025 found nothing to cite. Investigators looked into 2 complaints, one about a billing dispute after a resident's death and one about the quality of care, and neither was confirmed.
