In April 2024, inspectors confirmed a complaint that when a prospective resident chose not to move in after paying a preadmission fee, the home never gave the resident's representative any written disclosure about the refund policy; when the home had not issued the refund by the correction deadline, the state fined it $600 in May 2024. In 2023, a review of five staff files turned up no training documentation at all: no CPR, no first aid, nothing for any of them. The state looked into many other complaints over the years and did not confirm all of them.
